OneDrive Gets 'AI Restyle' Feature to Give Your Photos an Artistic Makeover

Microsoft is rolling out AI Restyle in OneDrive, a new feature that reimagines everyday photos in creative, expressive styles. The new feature allows you to convert your memories into cinematic posters, hand-painted art, pencil sketches, anime-inspired visuals, and more; all while keeping the original photo recognizable.

With AI Restyle, you just need one tap to generate a fresh AI version of any photo. You can further select from a rotating set of styles that match the content of the image.

That’s not all; you also have the option to enter prompts so you can personalize the image the way you want. It’s worth notimg that multiple restyles can be tried until the desired look is achieved. The changes you nake can be undone or redone instantly, making experimentation around the AI image easy.

Sharing is just as seamless, as you can go from viewing to restyling to sharing within a few taps, without leaving OneDrive Photos. Microsoft notes that the people, places, and memories in photos remain intact, simply reimagined in a fresh new style.

AI Restyle in OneDrive is currently available to Microsoft 365 Premium subscribers. The rollout of feature will vary depending on the region. In the announcement post, Microsoft says it plans to expand the feature to additional platforms and is investing in new editing capabilities that combine AI creativity with control and authenticity.
